We're closed now
Open Tomorrow: 9:30 - 17:30
To reassure shoppers Queens Arcade remains a safe and clean environment, and to address any concerns you may have prior to visiting, we have put together a list of frequently asked questions.

What are the centre opening hours?

Monday to Friday (excluding Thurs) 9.30am – 5.30pm
Thursday 9.30am – 6.00pm
Saturday 9.00am – 6.00pm
Sunday 11.00am – 5.00pm

Please be aware that individual retailers may have altered their opening hours in light of safety and available staffing. If you are visiting a specific store, please visit the store’s website or call ahead to check they are open.

Where should I queue for the shop I am visiting?

Each retail shop will manage the queue for their shop and permit you to enter when it is safe. Visitors are asked to queue at safe distances outside the shops. If the queue becomes too long, you may be asked to return. Whilst this is not ideal, your patience is appreciated whilst they keep you safe.

Is social distancing being practiced?

You will see plenty of signage whilst visiting, reminding you to practice social distancing and keep a safe distance between anyone who is not in your household or bubble. The centre is also operating a strict one way system for shoppers to travel around Queens Arcade.

What stores are open at Queens Arcade?

The Government has indicated that certain businesses may open, whilst others may not just yet. We have a page on our website that is updated daily which details the stores that are open. Please click here for more information.

Do you have hand sanitiser available for use?

There are several hand sanitiser dispensers available for visitor use in the centre. We encourage you to use these when you enter and exit and after you have touched anything or handled cash. We politely request you do not fill up personal bottles from these dispensers.

Is there a restriction on how many people are in the shopping centre at one time?

We control the number of visitors allowed into the shopping centre at any one time based on the number of retailers we have open. We would ask you to avoid entering the centre if it appears overly busy and return later. Thank you in advance for your patience and understanding.

How long can I stop at the shopping centre?

To ensure visitor and staff safety, we are asking you to do your shopping as quickly as you can. We look forward to the day when we can welcome you back and you can stay and socialise as long as you wish, but for now, please do your shopping safely.

Can I stop and talk to friends? If so, how can I do this safely?

We are encouraging visitors to only stay in the centre for as long as absolutely necessary. If you wish to stop and speak to friends, please arrange to meet them outside rather than in the malls. Where possible we would like to keep people constantly moving, in order for social distancing to be practiced effectively.

Do I have to wear a face covering when I shop with you?

The Government has not made face coverings compulsory whilst shopping. If you wish to wear a face covering whilst shopping with us, this is fine. You may also see some of our team and retail staff wearing face coverings for their own safety.

Where do I go if I have a problem or a question?

The Queens Arcade team are on hand at all times to answer questions or address any concerns you have. You will find them at our entrances and patrolling the malls. They can be identified by their High Viz vest and Queens Arcade uniform.

What if I am uncomfortable if someone gets too close to me?

If you feel unsafe or uncomfortable at any time, please let a member of the Queens Arcade team or any of our retail store teams know.
