Noah’s Ark announced as Fundraiser of the Year

A public vote has crowned Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospital Charity winners of Queens Aracde Shopping Centre’s official Fundraiser of the Year 2021.

More than 1000 people cast their vote, with Noah’s Ark winning by a landslide 556 nominations.

Having raised more than £23 million to build and equip the hospital, today the Noah’s Ark Charity responds to urgent need across the hospital, funding innovative life-saving equipment and investing in technology that helps to train the clinicians of tomorrow.

The charity provides funding for patient and family services which help alleviate anxieties, support parents and engage children. For example, the play specialist team, who help children be children, despite the difficulties they are facing.

Their mission is to create brighter todays and better tomorrows, ensuring the best outcome and experience possible for the children of Wales.

Fundraising events will be held regularly at the centre each month, with first taking place in July to support the charity’s cyclothon.
